Dear Mishpachah [Family]:

The Torah reading for week ending Tevet 28, 5779 is Sh’mot [Exodus] 6:2–9:35 called Va’Era meaning “I Appeared.” The Haftorah reading is from Ezekiel 28:25–29:21. The Writing in the Messiah is Romans 9:14-24.

Shabbat: Optional Color theme: Open
Torah Service:  10:30 AM-12:00 PM. Nursery available for ages 5 and under.
Oneg/Lunch:  12:00-1:00 PM. The theme is Open

Guests are welcome to stay for Oneg.  Members and regular attendees, please bring enough food for your family and some to share with our guests.  Parents, please be with your children and help with their portions.  After Oneg, your dishes will be put on the small table in the foyer and help with clean-up will be appreciated so we can begin our afternoon services on time.

Afternoon Services:
Congregation Midrash (Open to everyone):  Jack will lead a deeper discussion about this week’s Parashah (portion).

Women’s Bible Study:  We are finishing up Chronicles of Messiah and will be beginning Chronicles of the Apostles very soon!
Children 12 and under:  Carrie Tarrant is helping with our children.

Nursery Schedule: (Jan 5)–Barb  (Jan 12)–Carolyn  (Jan 19)–Barb  (Jan 26)–Tracy. We need at least one more nursery worker!!

Bible Study Tuesday We are taking a short break during this very busy time of year.  See everyone back on Jan 15th as we continue with Matthew chapter 14.

Praise Team Practice Thursday 7:00 PM:  We will work on a dance for “Baruch ADONAI” by Joel Chernoff, and our congregational dance is “Jew & Gentile.” To reach our goal of dancing to a choreographed dance each week, we have added an additional practice Sundays at 3:00 PM. Thanks 
Food Outreach: Sunday, Jan 24th with set up @1:30 PM. For the month of December, we served 14 families consisting of 44 people.  Thanks to all who helped, we appreciate you.
The Next Beginning Hebrew session will begin on Jan. 12th [3 PM- 4:30 PM] if you are interested in joining us, please discuss this with Tracy, as there is only room for a couple of new students! Class fee for NEW students is $40 and you will also need to purchase your own copy of the new book. 
Messianic Dance Camp:  Saturday Evening January 12, 2019 
               Registration & Fellowship  5:00 PM        Dance Instruction  6:00-9:00 PM
                                    Suggested $10 Donation (or $20 per family)
                               Come and have a fun time of learning and dancing.
