Torah Service: 10:30 AM–12:00 PM. The Torah reading for Tishrei 13, 5783 is Deuteronomy 32:1-52 called Ha’Azinu, meaning “Give Ear”. Haftorah reading is 2 Samuel 22:1-51. The Writings in Messiah is Romans 10:16-21.
Oneg/Lunch: 12:01 PM to 1:00 PM.
Women’s Bible Study 1:00 PM: We are presently teaching the series called “Hebrew Mind Verses Greek Mind”, and we will finish this series this week. Next, we will start studying “Hebrew Idioms Explained”. We will meet in Oneg Room.
Dance Practice: We will meet immediately after Bible Study and again on Thursday @5pm for Sukkot dances.
Food Outreach–October 30th with set-up time of 1:30 PM. Outreach is from 2-4 PM. Thanks to all who help.
High Holy Day Services: Will be as follows and we hope to see everyone come celebrate with us.
Yom Kippur-Ne’ilah will be Wednesday, October 5th at 6:00 PM for the “Closing of the Gates” service where we will have special readings, liturgy, a time of prayer and one long blast of the shofar. After service, we break our fast with potluck supper. It is traditional to wear white for both services to reflect the purity of that Day.
Sukkot (6th Day)–Our celebration will be on Shabbat, October 15th at 10:30 AM.
