Weekly Announcements

Dear Mishpachah [Family]:

Torah Service: 10:30 AM–12:00 PM. This Shabbat we will start reading from the new cycle beginning with B’reisheet (Genesis) 1:1–6:8 called B’reisheet meaning “In a Beginning”. Halftorah reading is Isaiah 42:5–43:10. Writings in Messiah is John 1:1-5.

Oneg/Lunch: 12:01 PM to 1:00 PM.

Women’s Bible Study 1:00 PM: We will start studying “Hebrew Idioms Explained”. We will meet in Oneg Room. New handouts will be given.

Dance Practice: We will meet immediately after Bible Study to practice our dances. Now is a good time for all who desire to join in dance, please come join us.

Food Outreach–October 30th with set-up time of 1:30 PM. Outreach is from 2-4 PM. Thanks to all who help.

Beginner Hebrew Class will start November 5th (Shabbat) at 4:00–5:00 PM. Please sign-up so we can have enough printed material for all students. You will need to bring your own 3-ring binder, pencil and eraser. We will study two letters each week along with vowel points. The goal of this class is to help you read and study
